Momma Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to be Cowboys
Yesterday, I was blessed to spend the afternoon planning outfits, locations and poses with a young lady that means so much to me. Miss Lane Wood, I have known her since she was in diapers. We laughed, giggled and caught up on so much that had happened since I stopped showing horses.
The moment I walked in to the house Kobie, Lanes dad asked me to say a very familiar phrase. He had a horse he showed named "Red White and Boon" and when I was little I loved to say it and drag the Boon out. So in my best little kid voice I spouted out Red White and Booooon and it brought back so many fun memories.
Getting to watch Lane and her younger sister Marley grow up has been so fun, Lane has blossomed into such a beautiful young lady and is taking the NCHA by storm lately winning major events and flying all over the world to do it. Lane recently won the Non-Pro class at the Quarter Horse Congress in Ohio.
I could go on and on about the how great of a horseman she is, and how great she is at sports but I would need more than one blog for that : )
Instead let me show you how beautiful she is.
Lane, I hope that the rest of your senior year is amazing and look forward to watching you grow up to be such an awesome young lady!
