Austin Penny l Senior
Austin Penny is a Senior at Paradise High School and he is very active in the athletic programs and faithful Christian.
I had the pleasure of meeting up with him last week to take his Summer Senior Pictures, and I look forward to meeting with him again in the Fall.
We first met up at the football field at the high school to play around with his jersey, football and just to break the ice. Austin is the strong silent type and well I am about loud and eccentric so I had to get him to warm up to me before we just broke in to all the fun stuff.
After we talked for a little bit and played around we got to know each other we had a lot of fun. We laughed and played and I made him do silly poses that he questioned my sanity. He didn't say it but I saw it. But hey I'm not mad I am probably a little crazy but who isn't really.
And I love how life brings you back around to meet people, Austin's sweet momma and I have been in contact getting ready to meet for the shoot trying to make sure we both had everything we need such as clothes, shoes, sports equipment, and his BIBLE : ) well when we met up at the school it hit us that we had already met before. Mrs. Penny had catered my cousins wedding the year before. (insert It's a Small World After all) you know you sang that…. Its ok that was my plan.
After we left the football field we went in to the killer area that is Downtown Paradise and had some fun! Austin was sporting a nice green v-neck tee and boots and jeans. We had fun posing against brick walls, tin, and some cool door frames. We got laughs, smiles, and made some memories.
Then we switched it up to shorts and a pink shirt that I picked from what he brought and I scored major points with that because it was his favorite shirt. Mom had requested that we take pictures with his Bible and I was beyond stoked. I love a faith centered family. So we did exactly that!
Then off to the Baseball field we went. And I wish someone would have videoed us "sneaking" on to the field.. SHHH lets keep that a secret. We had to shimmy through this little opening next to the dugout and let me tell you neither of us could have been any bigger to fit through there. We had a blast out there tossing the ball around, swinging the bat, and relaxing in the dug out.
And then it was a WRAP! I hope that y'all enjoy his photos as much as I have.
Thank you Janzen so very much for these keepsake memories that will forever be a part of who he is. You made something I was dreading very easy and simple and actually enjoyable. I can't wait to do the second session this fall. I know it will be amazing. You are an amazingly, talented artist. Thank you.
