Tallaney & Walter l Mommy and Me

July 28, 2014  •  Leave a Comment

This session that I am about to share with you is very near and dear to my heart. I have known sweet Tallaney for about 7 years now. We met through mutual friends and have stayed friends ever since. Five years ago she had the sweetest, tiniest, and most handsome bundle of joy ever Mr. Walter.

Now Walter may not have gotten off to the easiest start in life and I can not even imagine all that Tallaney has gone through in the process. But this is what I do know, Tallaney has never once stopped doing all that she can as a mother, she has not given him any less love because its been hard she's actually given him more, she has made sure he has had everything he needs or wanted, she makes sure that he lives a very healthy and fun life.

Tallaney I want to give you a HUGE applause! You have not had it easy and you have stood strong and been amazing, the type of mom that every woman inspires to be.

When Tallaney and I got together to do a shoot we knew we wanted a vintage feel and that we wanted it to be fun. So that is exactly what we did, I set up two very sweet locations one was a Cowboys and Indians styled set up with a Tepee, navajo blankets, western pillows, old suitcase, and guitar case covered in rodeo stickers. Walter and Tallaney we dressed the part to perfection. She was wearing a sweet dress with a Tepee design on it, fringe hem, and setting it off with handmade moccasins. Walter now he is Cowboy to the core, he was wearing a Black hat, White shirt, nice jeans, and the coolest patchwork boots you can find!

For the second set up it was pure vintage. I donned it with old leather suitcases, vintage chairs, tons of old cameras, a globe, and topped it off with a  sweet old tractor water sprinkler just because. Tallaney was dressed to impress in her grandmothers vintage dress! Yes you read that right, this beauty passed down and handmade! Walter sported a cool look in a yellow polo, tan pants, and some killer checkered shoes!

The final look was all about Walter.  A styled photo that has been done for generations, he wore a cute white shirt, red shorts, the coolest suspenders, and the perfect patched hat. Mud boots completed the look since had tons of rain the week of the shoot.

So the details are cool but I know you just really want to see the pictures to complete the look! Well without further hesitation her you go loves look away. Indulge those eyes in the beauty that is Tallaney and Walter!

Hope that you loves enjoyed this session as much as I have! It was a blast working with these cuties!
