Kiss Me With Your Eyes
Now this is a fun story!
I was sitting in the airport in Chicago waiting to get back home, my flight had been delayed and I had chatted it up with several people sitting near by. The terminal was getting full so I made my way towards the gate and sat on my suitcase. Mind you I don't travel with your normal style of suitcase I carry a vintage samsonite that has been painted pink with antique broaches attached. After a few minutes of hanging out I see someone coming over on crutches, she managed to find a seat across from me and just says, your cute I think we should be friends. And that describes Larin perfectly. She works for the Ritz Group in Dallas as a fabulous Sales Rep for several spectacular clothing lines. After a few minutes of chatting we exchanged numbers and a budding friendship began to develop. Larin is the type of person you only meet once in a lifetime and I am thankful to know her!
We have now worked several markets together and just love learning more about the other. When she asked me if I would do her boudoir shoot I was enthralled, she could have asked anyone but she chose me again.
We got slightly discourage when our first day that we had scheduled got rained out and I do mean big time, I won't complain though we always need the rain. So a week later we meet up and all is wonderful. We did her shoot on a Saturday and I spent the night editing her photos then made her a lovely book to give to her fiancé before the wedding that was just a few short days away. In true Larin fashion we got it done at the last minute. She once told me she would be late to her own funeral, and I can say I do believe her.
Larin and the stunningly talented Bethany Oddo show up at my house to get ready for the shoot. Hair, Make Up and a thousand memories made.
When Larin was all dolled up we loaded up in the car and made our way out to the location I had set up earlier in the day, and all was perfect!
The golden light, swoon! The shadows enhancing the details, glorious! And Larin she was just stunning!
I set up an old iron bed in the valley of some trees hidden behind an old chevy truck that we were happy to use.
Larin married the man of her dreams on July 5th in The Domincan Republic. The beach wedding was glamorous just as it should be for this diva.
I can't wait for her to get home and fill me in on all of the happenings that went on.
