Family Is Everything
The Percival Family.
I have known sweet Danielle since I was a little raggedy haired girl running around the barn riding horses all day long and just enjoying life. Her family became a part of my own as we all got so close throughout the years we spent together. Of course as life usually goes we grew up and apart but always thought of each other.
We reconnected sometime ago through Facebook and its been just like old times. Danielle herself is also a photographer and it has been great to help her and watch her grow in it. She has helped me too. Sometimes its so easy to get wrapped up in wanting more more more and she grounded me fast showing me that the littlest details are still the ones that matter most. Thank you for that : )
Now just a few short months ago a tragedy fell upon them and it still doesn't feel real. Danielle and Tyler lost their son Tyee, he was a bundle of joy that was always happy go lucky no matter the circumstances. I don't feel like it is my place to go in to details, but I will ask that you pray for them.
They still have a tenacious little girl Miss Dixie and she was a bundle of joy at the shoot and kept us all on our toes.
This shoot was very tough as it was the first big thing they have done since the passing of their son, but the made it through miraculously. They are strong strong people.
Lets take a look and see how this shoot unfolded.
I set up my favorite old iron bed, turquoise chair, vintage cameras, and killer suitcases. The mood was set and fun was had!
Dixie kept us chasing after her, smelling flowers, looking for kitties, trying to open doors, and giggling. Her light hearted mood kept this shoot exactly the way it needed to be.
Tyler and Danielle you are wonderful people. I am delighted to know you and call you friends. Keep your heads up time heals all wounds and Tyee will always be with you!
Thank you so much! You have grown up so beautiful. I The photos are amazing you did a wonderful job. I love you still and am very proud of you
