This beautiful girl that I am about to unveil is an all around class act. She is a great student with big plans on the softball field in front of her. Brittany and the Vinita Hornets just recently claimed the title of District Champs! But being an excellent student and athlete are not the only great things about her.
As I made my road trip up to see her it rained the entire way, now if this would have been a session close to home my instinct would have been to reschedule, and only being to Vinita once before I had scout locations once I got there. When looking for some where to take pictures I look for old buildings, back alleys, fire escapes, funky colored walls, basically anything that is out of the ordinary. And Vinita had the jackpot of all things that I could ever hope for. I turned down one side street, and found an abandoned building, a white brick wall, a rock wall covered in ivy, a tin wall, a white wall, and some funky old doors. Only thing missing was the stairs, and as I turned one more corner, there they were in all their glory! This day just kept getting better. Then I was blessed to meet a bouncing bubbly smile as she got out of the truck. She was beyond excited to being taking her pictures and that makes any photographer even more excited about there job. As we drove to the locations I always wonder have the clients seen these places or am I introducing them to somewhere new? They thought I might be a little crazy I'm sure as I say hey come down this alley with me.
Lets see what you think of all the awesome back drops this alley provided : )
Brittany I wish the best of luck for the rest of your senior year and hope that you enjoy every moment of it!
As the parent of this young lady - I cannot say thank you enough for the beautiful shots of Brittany. I could not have asked for a better person to come and take her pictures and to find some neat places as backdrops. Thanks!
